If you want to select an icon block, follow this scheme: Move the mouse cursor above the first icon of the block. Press and hold both the shift key and the left mouse button and move the mouse to the end of the block.
All selected icons will appear shading. If any command consists of more than one icon, all of them will be selected and deselected together.

Moving a block is easy. All you need to do is pick the block with the mouse and move it to another place.
As soon as the block is picked up, the icon which represents a moving block appears close to the mouse cursor. The block will be moved to the point, where you place the icon.
Be careful when moving the block close to the border of the workspace. If the cross mark happens to appear, the block will be deleted as soon as you drop it.

You can delete a block either using the Delete key or picking it up and moving it out of the workspace.
As soon as the mouse cursor with the icon representing the block leaves the workspace while moving, the cross mark appears. That means the block will be deleted as soon as the button is released.
Even a particular icon can be deleted by picking it up and moving it outside the workspace without any need to select it as a block.

You can cut or copy a selected block to the clipboard using the command from the
Edit
menu.
In the same way you can paste it from the clipboard into the program. In that case, the icon representing a block operation would appear close to the mouse cursor. If you want to place the block to the program, move the cursor above the desired position and click. The block is placed to the position.
