For assigning commands use buttons in a central part of the toolbar.
These commands are mostly controlling Baltie's movement in his world. For further details about this world see the Baltie's world page. 3D world.
Commands assigning is pretty simple - commands are inserted by pressing the button with a proper icon. If Baltie is not busy by carrying out some previous command, he will perform the new one immediately. If he is busy, he will perform it right after finishing what he is occupied with.
The meaning of particular buttons is as follows:
Visible - Baltie will become visible.
Go - Baltie will move 4 steps forward from the middle of one imaginary cube into middle of the cube in front of him.
Turn Left - Baltie will turn by 90° left.
Turn Right - Baltie will turn by 90° right.
Up - Baltie will fly up into an imaginary cube above him, that means about 1,5 times higher than his tallness (2 meters to be exact).
Down - Baltie will fall in an imaginary cube below him, that's about 1,5 times higher than his tallness (2 meters to be exact).
Back - Baltie will go 4 steps backward from the middle of one imaginary cube into the middle of the cube behind him (2 meters to be exact).
Invisible - Baltie will become invisible.
Baltie's speed - B4 opens dialog for entering the speed of Baltie's movements.
Say - B4 opens dialog for entering the text Baltie should read out loud. In standard instalation, the voice has english pronunciation.
Select and Conjure Model - B4 will open a dialog for choosing a model. After you set the model, Baltie will conjure it in a cube in front of him. For further details see the section Conjuring a model up and away.
Remove all models from the space cube in front of Baltie - Baltie will take away all objects, which are in the cube in front of him. For further details see the section Conjuring a model up and away.
Set Baltie's color - B4 opens dialog where you can change color of Baltie and his clothing.
Skybox on/off - turns the background of Baltie's world on and of. The skybox is placed in infinity in all directions from Baltie. That means that if Baltie goes even one kilometer ahead, the skybox will be still equally infinitely far from him. In other words, the scenery showed in the skybox will stay at the same place, but Baltie will be getting smaller when he goes away from you. So Baltie can neither step in nor conjure in the skybox. He is doing everything in the open space. If you want Baltie to walk on the solid land, you have to conjure it up first.
Delete Scene - removes all conjured objects from Baltie's world. It does affect neither Baltie's position nor the content of the Command sequence.
Commands, which we have given Baltie, are saved in the assigned commands pane, which is in the lower part of the application window. You can anytime recall the assigned sequence of commands and let Baltie execute it again. For further details on running of assigned commands see the section Maintaining the command sequence list Maintaining the command sequence list.
